FLARE - tangible file sharing
Jul 2011: FLARE is a file sharing prototype that was designed to fit Generation Y office workers. Looking at their specific interaction qualities, me & my student design team created this prototype in a 20 week course on Interactive Technology Design.
Unbalanced Treehouse jungle gym
Apr 2012: Together with a fellow student, I implemented the principles of Reversal Theory and the work of our professor into the design of this treehouse jungle gym. From inside the treehouse, the movement of the spheres can be manipulated.
Collaboration tool for NGOs
May 2013: I developed this collaboration tool for NGOs oriented at short-term relief or long-term development. The goal of the tool is to develop a shared understanding of challenges that are present during the transition from short- to long-term aid, and collaboratively develop solutions to these challenges.
Sociolite - interactive table
Feb 2012: This concept implies a bar table that is placed in the context of a train station shop, where it should facilitate social behaviour among strangers. The table top moves when people in a waiting line interact with it.
Graduation manual infographic
Sep 2012: For the Graduation Support Center of the Industrial Design Engineering faculty, I created this visual representation of the road towards becoming a graduated engineer. This image is now used in presentations at the beginning of final semester, to make students aware of all the procedural steps that need to be taken before graduation.
Sustainable Dance Floor Maintenance
Jan 2011: During an internship I worked on the development of a maintenance software package for the Sustainable Dance Floor modules. I designed a monitoring system as well as a GUI to control each module, for the dance floor operator to monitor what is going on.
